Zombie Tramp Vol 3 Issue 9

Posted by Geek-o-Rama Admin on 11:00 AM

Perfect jumping on point for new readers! Janey is back, fresh from a dirt nap, and continuing her cross-country quest. But when a bath in what appears to be an abandoned Detroit warehouse leaves rings in the tub, the meth chef resident cooks up a new drug... yep, it's Breaking Bath Salts! Plus a major character in an all-new upcoming ongoing monthly series makes her first ever full costume appearance!

As mentioned, this is a pretty great place to jump into the series if you've seen none of it.  As a big fan, I'd certainly say you should read all of the books that have come out so far.  But, if you're just looking for a intro to Zombie Tramp, Issue 9 is a great way to dive in.

Even zombie girls need their beauty rest, especially when they are as hot as Janey.  After a much needed dirt nap, the natural next step is a bath in the house of a druggie of course.  Then it gets really weird, as Janey's bath water ends up being the new drug craze (complete with real life bath salt reference).  All hell breaks loose from there, as you'd think.

Along with the usual artwork with blood and boobs that has been enjoyable from the start, we see some new pieces here.  Not only do we see some crazy new zombie designs, but at the very end we see a new mysterious character.  She's apparently going to be getting a new series, and this is our first full viewing of her look.

Both the ongoing story and the introduction to a new series character kept my interest as strong as always.  The bath salt thing was a bit overboard, but then again, the idea of a sexy zombie is as well right?  Like I said before, if you want to see Zombie Tramp for the first time, this is as good an issue as any.  For long time fans, it's more of the great book we've had all along.
