Irresistible continues...
Mr. Keeg is living it up with his new found bravado, but he will soon see what can happen when people love you to death.
So, things
are finally starting to look up for Allen Keeg.
No longer is he scoffed at by women, but is deeply desired by every
single one he comes across. Unfortunately,
that doesn’t seem to be enough for Allen, which he realizes shortly before
things take a turn for the worse. This
tale of heart-break and hot moments, slowly takes a turn towards a much darker
tone, as many of Raven Gregory’s stories are akin to do. This just goes to show that being woman’s
deepest desire may not be all it’s cracked up to be.
Now, don’t
get me wrong I really do enjoy the dark turns Raven’s stories tend to
take. It keeps the story more grounded
in reality because as most people know, there really aren’t such things as
happy endings and more often than not, some things really are too good to be
true. A hard lesson Allen will soon be
rather privy to.
In all
honesty, there really wasn’t much of anything that I didn’t like about this
issue. Everything just seemed to flow so
well that at times it seemed as though this all actually happened to someone. A word of warning however, as this issue tends
to stray into the R-rated territory. Not
that I’m complaining mind you.
All-in-all, this
book is a definite must-buy, especially if you enjoyed the first one. There’s no resisting the fact that this is
some fine writing here. Use caution
though, as many people have been known to fall madly in love with this
issue. For more info on this series and
