Zombie Tramp Vol 3 Issue 2

Posted by Geek-o-Rama Admin on 9:00 AM

She used to be Hollywood’s hottest high priced call girl.  Then a bite from an undead client changed her into something deadly different.  Now she searches for answers.  Janey Belle is the...Zombie Tramp.  It's kinky supernatural fun as Zombie Tramp hits the road, starting in... Sin City of course!

There’s no question that the Danger Zone from Action Lab takes its name seriously.  If you’re not ready to see titles that push the envelope, then you’ll want to slowly back away.  In the event you’re willing to take the chance and be rewarded with the chance to read great books, Zombie Tramp is one of the many you can check out.  Now with an ongoing series, there’s bound to be plenty of envelope pushing in store for you.

After the previous adventures of Janey aka “Zombie Tramp”, we now see her moving on to Sin City.  Of all the places the story could move to for an undead lady of the night, this is amusingly enough probably the most appropriate.  I am missing out on a small piece of the current situation from issue 1 (which I will have to pick up), but as of this book we see her being hunted for some reason.  That reason is as we find out, well, the apparent zombie of Elvis.  Or perhaps it’s just an impersonator.  Either way, this King is just as undead as Janey and seeking her eternal company.

Now that this hit title is ongoing, we get the pleasure of seeing the cool artwork more regularly – and in color!  The previous volumes were not of any less quality without the color, but getting to enjoy the book with that added element makes it all the better.  There wasn’t a whole lot of gore in this issue, but I have no doubt it will look much gnarlier with full color in the book.

If you didn’t jump onto Zombie Tramp previously, now’s a great time to do so with the monthly series in full swing.  I’m definitely glad to see it made it to that status, and would suggest getting aboard the zombie train before it gets too far.  For those afraid that it’s just another zombie story, let me reassure you it is most certainly not and is worth reading.
