Pirate Eye

Posted by Katie on 10:00 AM

Join ex-pirate and now high-seas detective Smitty as he searches for a beautiful yet elusive lass who has stolen the heart of an influential politician. But can he find her before her deadly secret is discovered? Blimey!

The Good: I don't know where to start. It's been a while since I read a book that  I honestly wanted to re-read the second I finished reading it the first time. This is one of those books. The story line is fantastic. The art is gritty and dark and maybe a bit noir. It fits the story in such a way that rarely comes along.

The Bad: This book won't be available on store shelves until December. That's right, we got a sneak peek!

The Summary: Run, don't walk to your local comic book store and pre-order your copy of this book. I mean it. You won't regret it. The story line is adult but adults love comics too! Just to make your local shop folk's job a little easier, it's Diamond Code OCT120722. Seriously, it's Dick Tracey meets Captain Jack Sparrow. What's more thrilling than that?
