Of the many great video game titles that have come out in recent years, I personally think Dragon Age is one of the most impressive.  It is just so involved in the storyline, has fantastic visuals, and of course, offers excellent gameplay.  The newest in the series has been a hit, and now gets a perfect companion with the Dragon Age: The World of Thedas Volume 2 HC.

If you love game lore, especially for Dragon Age, then this book is absolutely perfect for you.  When I tell you that it is a few hundred pages packed full of it, I'm probably selling it short.  They touch upon virtually everything that you'd need to know about from this game.  Whether it's region history, character info or even bits of children's stories, it's in here.

While this is primarily not an art book, there is still some scattered throughout as you follow along.  As with most books of this kind, it has a lot of exclusive and presumably never before seen pieces.  It's really nice to see content like this, and the artwork that is present is well appreciated.

Unfortunately, I did not get the opportunity to check out the first volume of this book series, but imagine it was just as great.  I'd love to check it out at some point, and may in fact try to grab it if the chance arises.  Fans of Dragon Age or those who just love game lore, this is a must buy and should most definitely be sitting on your shelf as soon as possible.
